Pool service
Handwritten letters for pool service companies
They loved the backyard when they toured the house. Now the pool is theirs, the water is starting to turn, and they don’t know what the pump timer does. Whoever helps them first could be at that pool every week for years.
Congrats on the new place!
I’m Jake, I run Clearwater Pool Service in Morgan Hill. New pool, new equipment, lots of buttons.
If you want, I’ll stop by, test the water and walk you through the pump and filter. Or I can just take care of it every week.

Why new movers matter for pool service
Someone just moved in down the street. They don’t have “a guy” yet. Every month, each new household in your zip gets a handwritten letter from you, in your own handwriting, in real ink.
The pool came with the house
Plenty of buyers never owned a pool before. They need help in the first month.
Weekly service is steady work
A pool customer is on your route every week. They stay as long as the water is clear.
Equipment work follows
Pumps, filters and heaters wear out. The weekly service company is the one asked to replace them.

- Streets on your routeWrite to houses with pools between your current stops to tighten the route.
- Thank-you to long-time customersA handwritten thank-you at the end of the season. It’s a small thing people remember.
Exclusive
One pool service company per zip
Your territory is a zip code. Hold it, and no new household there hears from another pool service company through LocalLetters. Not like shared leads sold to three to five companies, and not an ad auction you have to win again tomorrow.
Smaller zips go to one company. Bigger ones take a bigger plan, or get split between two or three, but no household ever hears from two companies in the same trade. Other trades can hold the same zip, so a plumber and a roofer aren’t competing for it.
Questions
What pool service companies ask
Can I only write to homes with pools?
The welcome letter goes to new movers in your zip. Write it so it makes sense for anyone, and mention the pool for people who have one. For a pool-only batch, tell us what you have in mind.
I’m a one-person route. Is this too much?
Starter is up to 50 cards a month. Pick a zip close to your route and see how it goes. Cancel any time.
Do you mail in the off-season?
Yes. People buy houses with pools in winter too. Change the wording for the off-season whenever you like.
What does it cost?
Plans are $249, $449 or $999 a month for up to 50, 100 or 250 cards. That covers the move data, the cards, envelopes, writing, stamps and mailing. Cancel any time. See pricing.
