Handwritten letters for electricians
They just bought the house and the to-do list is already growing: an EV charger in the garage, a breaker that keeps tripping, outlets that don’t seem to do anything. They need an electrician they trust, and they don’t have one.
Welcome to the neighborhood!
I’m Dana, owner of Brightline Electric in Morgan Hill. First weeks in a new place, there’s always a switch that doesn’t make sense.
If you’re thinking about an EV charger, or the panel looks old, I’ll come take a look and give you a straight answer.

Why new movers matter for electrical
Someone just moved in down the street. They don’t have “a guy” yet. Every month, each new household in your zip gets a handwritten letter from you, in your own handwriting, in real ink.
New owners start projects
Lighting, a charger, a subpanel for the shop. The first year in a house is when people spend on upgrades.
Trust matters more here
People are nervous about who works on their wiring. A personal note from a local owner goes a long way.
They have no electrician
Nobody passes their electrician along with the keys.

- EV charger installs nearbyAfter you put in a charger, write to the street. Neighbors with an EV in the driveway are thinking about it too.
- Older neighborhoodsA one-time note to every house in an older zip about panel inspections or safety checks.
- Thank-yous after a jobA thank-you with your number, so they have it for the next project.
Exclusive
One electrician per zip
Your territory is a zip code. Hold it, and no new household there hears from another electrician through LocalLetters. Not like shared leads sold to three to five companies, and not an ad auction you have to win again tomorrow.
Smaller zips go to one company. Bigger ones take a bigger plan, or get split between two or three, but no household ever hears from two companies in the same trade. Other trades can hold the same zip, so a plumber and a roofer aren’t competing for it.
Questions
What electricians ask
Should the letter push a specific service?
Pick one thing new owners actually ask about, like an EV charger or a panel check. Keep it short. It’s a hello, not an ad.
I’m a one-truck shop. Is 50 cards a month too many?
Start on Starter and see what comes in. You can change plans or cancel any time.
Can I reach commercial tenants too?
The monthly program writes to households. To reach businesses or property managers, set up a one-time send and tell us who you want to reach.
What does it cost?
Plans are $249, $449 or $999 a month for up to 50, 100 or 250 cards. That covers the move data, the cards, envelopes, writing, stamps and mailing. Cancel any time. See pricing.
